- Keep it brief and user friendly, 2-3 pages should be enough.
- State your full name and address, date of birth, marital status and number of dependents
- Briefly outline your leisure interests
- List your computer and software experience
- List your educational qualifications
- List professional qualifications
- Describe your work experience in reverse chronological order; cover the last two positions in greater detail
- State clearly the date, position and company name and location
- State your responsibilities and achievements
- Ensure all contents are factual and accurate
- When responding to an advert, look for clues about what specific information on experience and skills to include
- When you have finished your CV check all details carefully for any grammatical or spelling errors and ask others to review it and comment.
